Burns began her television career in 1995, when she joined the cast of the spanish-American teenager sitcom Out Of the Blue (1995-1996). Later, she starred in Baywatch: Hawaii Baywatch: Hawaii, which is the sequel to the Baywatch action series. Burns left Baywatch due to her first pregnancies.
